Meet Ashley from Aqua Blossom
Ashley is our amazing Mayor this month!
♥ Please tell the Village about yourself:
Hello :) I'm Ashley, owner of Aqua Blossom! I create handmade spa products including lip balm, body butter, body scrubs, facial products, and soaps. I live in Florida with my husband and two little boys, ages 2 and 3.
♥ Tell the Village about your business:
I've been in business for almost two years - since May 2011. When I first began making products, it was primarily baby products, but I realized early on that my true passion was making spa products - things that are wonderful for pampering yourself! My favorite products are my lip butters, body polish, and facial masks.
♥ What inspires you?
I love making new products each season. For example, during the fall I made a lot of warm, spicy scents. Now that it is spring, I am really into fresh florals. A lot of my products are fruity or tropical since I am a Florida girl :)
♥ What do you love most about your business?
The thing that I love most about my business is that it gives me a chance to do so many different things - no day is ever the same! Some days I get to be a photographer when I am taking photos of new products to list in my shops, some days I get to be a designer when I am designing new labels, and sometimes I feel like an evil scientist when I am measuring and testing new formulas ;)
♥ Would you recommend Sampler Village for other artisans to participate in? Why or why not?
Yes, absolutely! Sampler Village has not only helped me to get the word out about my products, but being part of the village has also introduced me to so many great artisans who I can really relate with. It's really been a wonderful experience and I look forward to participating in many more boxes!
